The Hang - Where The B-Listers Bring Their Living Room to The Composers Room -
With a Chef and a Bartender!!
Throughout the history of the home, the living room has been at the center of entertainment and hospitality. Guests are warmed and welcomed with the best of the house. Stephanie Calvert (formerly of Starship) and Chris Marion (Little River Band) as The B-Listers are translating this parlor parler into a regular evening of music and mirth at The Composers Room beginning Monday, February 26 from 6-9 PM.
The Hang will of course feature the performances of Stephanie and Chris, but will also spotlight a variety of their friends and colleagues from the robust entertainment tapestry of the Las Vegas community. You’ll have the opportunity to see anything from other Composers Room artists to mainstays of the Vegas lounge scene to even aspiring performers from the music department at UNLV.
All of this entertainment is paired with a diverse menu featuring delicious appetizers to world class entrees to delectable deserts. Top shelf crafted cocktails accent this classic supper club experience. Humorously, the last hour of the The Hang will be called “the Hang-Over” and will feature drink specials and even give guests an opportunity to make a request or two. As represented by its comfy couch logo, The Hang will draw you in and make your guest appearance one that you will not want to come to an end.
The B-Listers are Chris Marion (Little River Band) and Stephanie Calvert (formerly of Starship). These two became friends on a music cruise and friendship blossomed into the ultimate duo as they married in January of 2020. When the Coronavirus shut down their respective bands within weeks of their marriage, their musical collaboration began as means of staying connected to fans. It’s now developed into a repertoire that reflects their respective musical pedigrees and some of their favorite music spanning from the 70’s to current pop and country. They might jokingly call themselves the B-Listers, but they bring an A game in performance that keeps the duo in demand in their home of Las Vegas in prime showrooms like The Composers Room as well as nationally.
